What I'm doing now
Inspired by Derek Sivers' /now page, I've started a new page to list what I'm currently focused on.
This is what I'd tell a friend I hadn't seen in a year.
Work
I left the VC-backed AI startup I co-founded to pursue a different direction without VC money. I'm still very excited about the future of AI.
I am currently working as a senior software engineer at Just Move In. I also work as an AI consultant, helping companies build AI-powered products.
Side projects
- I've been working on Solmyr (not yet launched), a platform that gives developers the tools to build assistants that offer human-like understanding and memory, and the ability to interact across multiple channels, like Slack, Discord, and email.
- Last Christmas, I launched TV Sort, a platform to help people find and rank TV shows based on their personal tastes. It hit #1 on Hacker News.
- I've been trying to write more articles for this website, but I've been struggling to make time for it, as I'd much rather write code.
Personal
I moved to the USA in April, and Petra and I got married on June 13. We're settling into our home in Idaho, but looking to move to California in the near future.
This is my first pass at writing this; I'm sure I'll add more here as I think of more things.
